National Apprenticeship Week 2021: When will it be?

Last week the date for National Apprenticeship Week 2021 was announced by Gillian Keegan, Apprenticeship and Skills Minister. The date for the 14th Annual National Apprenticeship Week will be 8th-14th February 2021.

Gillian Keegan was quoted as saying:

“It has been fantastic to see how employers of all sizes have gone above and beyond to ensure apprentices can continue their studies during this unprecedented time. The week is also an opportunity to shine a light on how apprentices of all ages and backgrounds are helping to transform businesses across the country.

“As a former apprentice I know what a life changing experience it can be, and I’m looking forward to being part of National Apprenticeship Week 2021 and seeing first-hand the inspiring ways apprentices and their employers continue to deliver.”

What is National Apprenticeship Week?

National Apprenticeship Week celebrates apprenticeships across England where employers are encouraged to promote and share their apprenticeship jobs opportunities and promote their brands as employers of choice for budding apprentices. 



The event is also is promote and showcase apprentice success stories across England and to provide information to encourage others to start apprenticeships.

The annual week long event gives past and present apprentices from all backgrounds a stage to promote the benefits of apprenticeships and to cerebrate the learning opportunities available during National Apprenticeship Week 2021.

National Apprenticeship Week previously has provided over 900 events across England in all regions bringing together apprenticeship ambassadors, training providers and parents as well as employers and apprentices to highlight the work being done across the whole apprenticeship community.
